Middlesex County Bar Association Law Day ceremony canceled in Middletown


MIDDLETOWN – The Middlesex County Bar Association The Law Day ceremony and lunch scheduled for May 1 have been canceled, however, the agency will still hand out two scholarships to high school graduates attending any high school in Middlesex County.

The announcement was made in a press release from the association’s president, retired judge Robert L. Holzberg of Middletown.

“Despite these difficult times, we want to offer these scholarships to successful applicants in the hope that they can use the money more than ever,” Paladino & Welsh lawyer Richard F. Paladino at Old Saybrook said in a statement. prepare.

The association accepts applications for two scholarships in the amount of $ 1,500. The candidates will be judged by four of the association’s lawyers who donate their time.
