Shannon M. Puopolo, shareholder of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, has been elected president of the Lee County Bar Association Foundation. For the past five years, she has chaired the annual Lee County Bar Association Charity Golf Tournament, raising over $100,000 to fund grants for local charities.
“It is an honor to serve as Chairman of the Lee County Bar Foundation Board of Trustees this year,” said Ms. Puopolo. “Through its volunteers, sponsors, and events, the foundation makes grants to local nonprofit organizations that benefit the youth and underprivileged population of Southwest Florida and promote legal aid for the indigent. In the recent past, these organizations included Big Brothers/Sisters, Valerie’s House, Guardian Ad Litem Foundation, Lee County Legal Aid Society, and many others. I look forward to taking on a leadership role alongside the other Board members in fulfilling the Foundation’s mission to help our community in impactful ways.

Ms. Puopolo represents corporations and financial institutions involved in complex trial and appellate matters, including alternative financing transactions, partnership disputes, real estate disputes, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and collection, and fiduciary disputes. She also has an active appeals practice.

¦ Anthony Cetrangelo, a wills, trusts and estate planning attorney, joined the firm’s Naples office in 2019. While pursuing his LL.M. studies in taxation from Georgetown, Mr. Cetrangelo continues to update clients on legal developments.
