LA VEGAS – Yolanda Carapia recently received the 2022 Club X Rising Star award from the Nevada Justice Association. Established in 2019, the award recognizes outstanding new leaders of the Nevada Justice Association (NJA), a group of independent attorneys who work to improve Nevada’s justice system.
Carapia is very active in the organization, volunteering on the Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Committee and the Club X Committee. She was also recognized this year as Nevada Business Magazine’s Top Lawyer in the State.
The NJA Rising Star Award focuses on an individual attorney’s contributions to the overall goals of the organization, including partnering with other members to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and provide the benefits of past experiences to other lawyers.
Carapia first joined De Castrover’s Law Group as a lawyer in 2016 while attending law school and as an attorney in 2018. She was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2018 and District Court of the United States for the District of Nevada in 2019. She was also admitted to the Arizona Bar in 2019.
