Cambria County attorney Christopher G. Gvozdich, of the Gvozdich law firm in Ebensburg, had begun a three-year term on the board of governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA).
One of 12 zonal governors who serve on the PBA’s board of directors, Gvozdich will represent prosecutors in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana and Somerset counties.
Gvozdich is a delegate to the PBA’s House of Delegates, the association’s governing body since 2011.
He was a member of the 2013-14 class of the PBA Bar Leadership Institute; member and former chair and former co-chair of the PBA Quality of Life/Balance Committee; past recipient of the PBA President’s Recognition Award; member of the Cambria County Bar Association; former president of the association’s Young Lawyers Division; and former director of the Cambria County Bar Association Board of Directors.
Gvozdich had served as coordinator and administrator of the Cambria County mock trial program; had been coordinator of the Cambria County Bar Association’s Stepping Out program; is currently a director of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, where he serves on its finance and marketing committees; and was a member of the board of directors of Laurel Legal Services Inc.
